The 2N3906 is a voltage-controlled transistor in the single transistors bipolar (BJT) family. It is a fundamental component in electronic circuits and one of the most widely used switches. The 2N390X series of transistors is particularly suitable for general purpose low noise and low power amplifier applications. In the amplifier role the transistor is normally focused on low power, low noise performance and low voltage operations.
