The ADXRS645HDYZ is an advanced motion sensor, also known as a gyroscope, that is capable of measuring angular rate and/or static angular orientation. The accelerometer output of the ADXRS645HDYZ is used to measure static angular orientation. Additionally, a temperature-compensated bias voltage is also applied to the rate gyroscope to prevent errors due to environmental changes in temperature.
The ADXRS645HDYZ has a range of features that make it ideal for automotive and industrial applications. It is available in a tiny 4x4x1mm package and can operate within a wide supply voltage range (1.8 V to 3.6 V). It has an ultra-low power consumption of 45 mA and a low noise output (<100 uV/sec).
