AN80L33RMS is an on semiconductor 3A linear very low dual voltage regulator capable of working with low voltage differential and low energy consumption and heat dissipation. It is offered with a wide input voltage range and suitable for applications requiring two output voltages such as an overall system stabilization along with more precise voltage levels. It provides a maximum output accuracy of 1.8%, constant voltage and current limit over a wide input voltage range. It includes advanced protection such as undervoltage lockout and short circuit with external components.The main application areas of AN80L33RMS is in the field of computing, telecommunications and industrial applications. The P-FET is used to control the input voltage by sensing it, whereas the N-FET is used for delivering the set output voltage, taking into account that the output voltage is always lower than the input voltage.In addition, the AN80L33RMS utilizes a low noise amplifier (LNA) circuit which is connected between the output and the output inductor and is used to improve the voltage regulation accuracy by providing additional negative feedback. The LNA is designed to detect small voltage changes at the output and to automatically adjust the input voltage to maintain the output set point. The main features of AN80L33RMS is 3A low dropout voltage, low energy consumption, low noise output, low power dissipation, fast transient response, and high output voltage accuracy, making it ideal for applications where high accuracy, low energy consumption and low noise are essential.
