Evaluation Boards - Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) are widely used in many applications including data acquisition, vehicle navigation, machine vision systems, healthcare systems, and digital signal processing. The DC1620A-N is an ADC Evaluation Board from National Instruments, based on Texas Instruments’ high-speed, low-power, 16-bit ADC technology. The maximum conversion rate is 409.6 ksps and the maximum resolution is 16 bits. The ADS1620 has both a differential and an integrated voltage reference, as well as an internal temperature sensor for high accuracy measurements. Furthermore, the ADS1620 board has both an internal oscillator for independent operation and a crystal oscillator for synchronized clock operation.
