The work principle of the DC2552A evaluation board begins with the power-conversion process. This process uses the energy from an input voltage to create a regulated DC output voltage with high-voltage transformation capability. The transformation process is accomplished by passing the DC input through advanced MOSFETs, which act as controllable current switches in order to change the current entering the transformer coils. As the current flows through the coils, it creates a magnetic field, which causes the transformer to convert the initial DC input voltage into a DC output voltage with a slightly lower voltage.
