DS2726G+

The DS2726G+ is a battery monitor IC with an integrated rechargeable 2.7 V to 5.5 V sense terminal voltage range and high accuracy fuel gauge. It provides a high level of safety and robustness to battery packs due to its best in class accuracy and ESD protection on the sense line. The charge/discharge current monitor uses an optoisolated input to ensure a safe integrated design. The DS2726G+ battery management system also offers cell balancing capabilities, which allow the user to avoid irregular cell charging by balancing the cells with relatively low-cost external MOSFETs and sense resistors.
