The DS2710G+T&R is a highly advanced intelligent battery/charger-management integrated circuit specifically designed for precision portable applications, such as those in digital consumer products, computers, and portable medical devices, that require accurate charge control and monitoring of a battery. This PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) is designed to optimize battery life, precision and simplify system design by integrating the charging, protection, autonomous balancing and monitoring functions of the battery into a single IC.

The DS2710G+T&R features an integrated buck-boost controller for use with a variety of battery chemistries, including Li-Ion, LiFePO4, and SLA. The device is capable of charging up to 5 cells in series, with a maximum input voltage of 36V and a maximum output current of 4A. It also includes additional features such as over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-charge protection.
