Working Principle

The FAN2513S285X is an integrated linear voltage regulator which uses an internal transistor to regulate the output voltage. The device operates by varying the duty cycle of the internal transistor to control the amount of energy supplied to the output. As the voltage on the output increases, the duty cycle of the internal transistor is decreased, and vice versa.
