The high-efficiency converter manages lower cost and improves performance.HIP6301CBZ features a wide range of input and output voltages, with adjustable output voltage and fast transient response. It can be used to monitor output voltage and current. The device can withstand 6V input voltage surge and support high frequency operation up to 3MHz.The device includes an internal clock, drivers, error amplifiers, external clock paths and low voltage detection circuitry, making it easy to implement various power supplies. The integrated programmable loop compensation ensures fast turn-on time and allows the designer to rapidly adjust the high-frequency loop to the optimized state.The chip includes various protective circuitries, such as thermal shutdown, peak current limiting and over-voltage protection. It is available in 6-pin WDFN package and operates from -40℃ to 85℃.The working principle of HIP6301CBZ is based on switching Frequency Control. Its input is a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal driven by the external PWM control block, which then controls the switching on and off of the DC-DC converter circuit. When the chip is powered on, the Start-up circuit initializes the output voltage and then the voltage loop is activated. The Voltage Control block then compares the output voltage with the voltage reference and generates the error signal to the PWM generator block. This block then adjust the pulse width of the PWM signal to maintain a constant output voltage.The current-loop block controls the output current, providing current limiting and protection.
