HIP6301VCB is a high-frequency, high-efficiency, DC/DC LED lighting control operating voltage 6V-25V(maximum 32V), load current 0.5A-3.0A. It is developed in the Voltage Regulators section of PMIC Technology.

The power stage of the HIP6301VCB is designed to employ a switching controller to control the internal power transistors. The power transistor is driven by two power stages, one is the Boost stage and the other is the Buck stage. The Boost and Buck stages produce a higher voltage and a lower voltage respectively, and these two voltages are mixed to regulate the output voltage.

The LED lighting can be programmed by adjusting the duty cycle, thus increasing or decreasing the output power. The various power and frequency adjustment pins of the circuit enable the user to modify the output parameters such as the output voltage, current and frequency.
