HMC968 is a 2GHz active power divider MMIC, developed using an advanced process by Hittite Microwave Corporation. It is a special type of RF amplifier which can divide power evenly among two balanced outputs regardless of load impedance. It importantly supports a wide range of applications in wireless communications, data transmission and wireless local area networks, as well as RF power detectors and radar systems. Unlike a traditional power divider, this MMIC covers a wide frequency range from DC to 2GHz, and has a superior temperature stability over its operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
The HMC968 power divider can be an invaluable tool for wireless communications and other RF applications. It can provide a single output port with signal separation up to 40dB while maintaining a high level of accuracy. With a high CBR, excellent temperature stability, and an outstanding IP3, the power divider can ensure signal integrity in many wireless applications.
