1.Application field

The IXGH12N120A3 belongs to Infineon\'s OptiMOS Power-MOSFET family and is designed for industrial applications. 2.Working principle

The IXGH12N120A3 is a type of single IGBT and is a three-terminal semiconductor device possessing a high input impedance, low on-state voltage drop, fast switching speed and dv/dt immunity. It is essentially composed of two power transistors connected as a super-lattice, emitter-collector region of the one transistor providing the rate of change of magnitude of collector current, and the emitter-collector region of the other transistor providing the magnitude of collector current.
