Power management integrated circuits (PMICs) are conventional and highly versatile ICs (integrated circuit), that offer complete integrated solutions for power management. PMICs typically consist of multiple blocks, each featuring specific characteristics designed to meet the application’s power requirements. PMICs are divided into eight main categories: DC-DC converters, linear regulators, sequencers, monitoring, lighting, hot swap circuits, battery chargers and gate drivers.
