Working Principle
The LX2208ILD works by alternating between two phases: a constant current (CC) phase, and a constant voltage (CV) phase. During the constant current phase, the device provides a regulated input current to the battery, ensuring that it charges at a constant rate. During the constant voltage phase, the device monitors the battery voltage and limits it to the programmed voltage output (Vout). When the battery has charged to the desired voltage, the charger automatically switches to the voltage/hold mode, where it reduces the input current to maintain the battery voltage at the programmed voltage level.
