Working Principle
When a voltage is applied to the capacitor terminals, an electrical potential develops between the two terminal plates. This potential causes electrons to move toward one plate from the other. The electric field between the plates, known as the electric flux, stores energy in the capacitor, thus creating a capacitance and allowing electric current to pass between the plates.
