This storage of charges is the basis of dielectric absorption. The construction of M39003/01-7234/TR consists of an anode sheet which is etched to form an anode plate and a cathode plate. The anode plate is soldered to a substrate, while the cathode plate is soldered to a conducting pad. A wet tantalum cathode electrode is deposited on the cathode plate and terminated with a topping of Manbralzirconium dioxide. This construction method results in very low internal electrical leakage currents and the highest capacitance per package size.
