Tantalum Capacitors

Tantalum capacitors are a type of electrolytic capacitor that has a tantalum metal as its anode and as its cathode metal has oxide which forms part of the dielectric layer between the electrodes. The tantalum electrolytic capacitor provides a larger capacitance-voltage product than either aluminum or film capacitor. This is because of its greater dielectric constant and low leakage in comparison to other types of capacitors. Due to this, tantalum capacitors are used in many high frequency and high temperature applications.

M39003/01-8243/HSD Application Field and Working Principle

The M39003/01-8243/HSD is a radial tantalum capacitor, with a capacitance of 330µF and a working voltage of 25V.
