The inner core contains a dielectric material, usually tantalum pentoxide, has a very high dielectric constant. These tantalum pentoxide is a solid electrolyte behaves like a liquid electrolyte and filled with a conductive plate (anode) on one side and a second conductive plate (cathode) . An electric field is formed when a voltage is applied across the two conductive plates. The voltage stored in the anode and cathode is relative to the amount of charge stored in each one of them.
