Logic translators and level shifters play an important role in enabling communication between devices of different standards, logic levels and supply voltage levels. The MAX3371ELT+T is such a device, designed to transfer signals between tiny voltage levels as low as 0.9 V and full-range voltages up to 5.5 V. It can act as a translator between devices operating with 3.3V and 1.8V down to 0.9V, as well as translator between devices with 0.9V and 5.5V logic.

The MAX3371ELT+T has an excellent ESD rating of ±6 kV on the human body model (HBM). It is available in a tiny 8-pin TDFN package (3 mm x 3 mm), making it an ideal choice for use in space-constrained or portable applications.
