MBR60035CT Datasheet/PDFThe MBR60035CT is a Schottky rectifier array which is manufactured by ST Microelectronics. It is a dual, common cathode device and is supplied in the new PowerPAK® SO-8-L package, providing superior thermal and electrical performance. As is typical of Schottky rectifiers, the MBR60035CT is formed of two series-connected, individual rectifiers/diodes in one package. This type of device is sometimes known as a “full-wave bridge rectifier.”
The most common application for the MBR60035CT is as a rectifier in power conversion circuits. A rectifier is a device which allows current to flow in one direction, and prevents it from flowing in the opposite direction. This rectification process is essential for allowing the use of an AC voltage when only a DC voltage is usable.
