This feature is triggered when the internal temperature of the regulator exceeds a certain level. When the TSD feature is activated, the output voltage is automatically shut off until the internal temperature of the regulator has dropped back down to a safe operating temperature.The MIC5319-1.8BD5-TR linear voltage regulator also has current-limiting, short-circuit protection, overvoltage protection and over-temperature protection features which, once activated, can all help protect the connected circuit from becoming damaged due to a fault.The MIC5319-1.8BD5-TR linear voltage regulator is designed to work with low-profile components and has a low power consumption.
