The MIC5319-1.8BML-TR is a Linear Voltage Regulator, belonging to the larger Power Management IC (PMIC) family. This particular regulator includes a 30V break-over source and a 10V break-over sink voltage limit and is designed for Portable Media Players, as well as other Portable Consumer Electronics.
The MIC5319-1.8BML-TR uses a Rail-to-Rail design, allowing it to support output voltages of 1.3V to 8V. It also has a feedback resistor ratio of ∼1, allowing it to provide a flat output voltage tolerance of ±2.7% over the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Additionally, this voltage regulator does not require a minimum output to operate and will start up with output voltages exceeding 0V.
