MP4KE30A TVS diodes are unidirectional, bi-directional and bidirectional Ultrafast avalanche/Zener diodes with a low dynamic resistance, reverse power dissipation capability, and superior clamping performance set in an inexpensive DO-201 package style. They are designed for protection of electronic devices against transient overvoltage induced by lightning and other surge events. MP4KE30A is the 2nd generation of the Ultra MMI ESD/Surge family, building upon the original Ultra MMI Family of TVS diodes.

MP4KE30A TVS diodes are particularly effective when used for transient protection of ultrafast data signals. They offer maximum clamping performance over an exceptionally wide dynamic range of applications such as Industrial (RS485, CANBus, Ethernet), Automotive (LIN Bus, CANBus), Portable Electronics (USB, HDMI, new high speed HDMI2.0) and also Telecom/Datacom (10/100/1000BaseT).
