Memory technology continues to develop, the MT28F400B3WG-8 TET is a new addition to the memory family. It is a 4 Megabit (512K x 8-bit) nonvolatile memory device. It is an advanced triple-transistor cell (3T-TC), ultra-high-density flash memory device offering enhanced security, higher performance and flexibility compared to existing products.

The 3T-TC cell configuration allows for higher density of integration while providing a reliable storage mechanism. It consists of three transistors and one floating gate programmed using Fowler-Nordheim tunneling, enabling the device to hold data even when power is removed. The MT28F400B3WG-8 TET operates on a single 3.0V ~ 3.6V power supply and a lower row of regular cells maturing the whole logic of 1.8V power.

The MT28F400B3WG-8TET can be used in a variety of applications such as embedded controller code storage and nonvolatile memory for consumer, industrial, and communications products. It also is used for code backup and low power consumption in battery-backed applications. The device also features enhanced speeds of 25Mhz and fast page programming, with a programming time of 5us/Byte.

The MT28F400B3WG-8 TET utilizes various features to enhance the reliability, security and performance of the device. It offers optional Software Data Protection, which allows users to protect the data in the device against unintentional program or erase operations. The Security Identification feature also allows the host to detect whether external programs have already been programmed into the device. The device also includes a Fast Read Mode option that reduces the wait states to one and increases the transfer rate to 25Mhz.

The device offers a rapid Erase/Program operation, using two algorithms to ensure the operations run smoothly. It also supports an array of host commands to facilitate programming and erase operations from the processor. The MT28F400B3WG-8 TET supports optional ID registers, so each device can be uniquely identified for application protection.

The MT28F400B3WG-8 TET provides enhanced protection to the device by providing static, temporary, and permanent block protection of the data stored in the device. It also provides a Device Lock Feature which prevents unintended write and erase operations of the device even when the Software Data Protection is enabled.
