A power system supervisor is a device that monitors and manages components to ensure that the application system or subsystem is operating in an optimal state.
The NCP305LSQ36T1 is a low drop-out voltage supervisor that is specifically designed for battery-powered applications. The NCP305LSQ36T1 also has a hysteresis option that can be enabled by connecting the HYST pin to ground which ensures that during power-on, the reset output remains asserted until the VDD voltage rises above the VDDhyd pin voltage. The hysteresis option prevents the reset signal from "bouncing" and causing false alarms.
