Working Principle

The NM93C06EM8 device is a high-performance EEPROM, the architecture of this device has an 8-bit wide data bus. The device also supports five different protection modes, the protection codes are stored on a non-volatile register called configuration register. The Internal data register will contain the actual data that is readable, the data that are written can be accessed and updated routinely.

The NM93C06EM8 device also consists of a serial bus and programming logic circuit. These two primary components are used to connect any external device such as an external microprocessor. The NM93C06EM8 also has a sleep mode feature which can reduce power consumption drastically and to save battery life. This device requires a low voltage to make sure the data will not be erased. Once the device enters a sleep mode, the write and erase are disabled until the device gets the right command to awaken.
