The SA110AHR0G is an advanced TVS - Diodes (Transient Voltage Suppression Diode) that has been designed to provide a high level of altitude, temperature, and ESD protection. Its small surface mount design makes it ideal for applications that require a compact size, such as in communication, consumer electronic, and military applications. The SA110AHR0G is a low capacitance, fast response diode ideal for applications where space is at a premium.
Application Field and Working Principle
The SA110AHR0G is designed to protect against overvoltage stresses in a range of applications including industrial, automotive, telecommunications, computer, medical, and automotive systems. It provides over-voltage protection for low and mid-power electronic devices such as LEDs, discs, sensors and other components. SA110AHR0G is a diode with a fast response and low capacitance. This means that the device was designed with low insertion loss which ensures that the over-voltage protection is effective in circuit applications.
The SA110 AHR0G is designed to have a breakdown voltage of 6.6 V which allows it to protect against voltages up to 12 V. The device can operate from -55 to +125 °C in temperature and is also capable of providing over a thousand amperes of pulse current with a peak pulse power of 800 Watts. The fast response time of the device is supported by an 8ns external capacitor. The low capacitance and fast response time of the SA110AHR0G allow it to provide superior protection against electrical transients.
The SA110AHR0G uses a reverse blocking technology to suppress overvoltage conditions.
