The STAC2932B is a high performance RF FET transistor designed specifically for use in wireless devices operating in the 1 – 3 GHz frequency range. As the drain voltage is decreased, the field strength declines, resulting in a decrease in the current. This same principle can be used to control the gain of a transistor.
