Aluminum electrolytic capacitors (or “electrolytics”) are a type of capacitor that uses an electrolyte to store charge. They are constructed by wetting a thin film of aluminum oxide with an electrolyte such as sulfuric acid, often along with a conducting material such as a carbonate, and then spiraling layers of this metal-oxide-electrolyte film over a nonconducting core.

TE1303E is a special type of aluminum electrolytic capacitors designed to meet the needs of the telecom industry.
