Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are a type of electronic component that contains a type of capacitor enclosed in a cylindrical metal or plastic casing. This type of capacitor works by creating an electric field across two metal plates, one of which is positive and the other negative. When a positive voltage is applied to the capacitor, the positive plate of the capacitor will store the electrons. This is known as charging, and works by a moveable barrier between the two plates in the capacitor. Similarly, when a negative voltage is applied it will force electrons onto the negative plate.
