The Philips TJA1021TK/20/C transceiver is designed for current loop balanced application with a data rate up to 30 Mbps. It is manufactured using the NMOS technology in order to reduce power consumption and cost. This transceiver can be used for communication system and data bus where current loop is needed. 2. Working Principle:
The main feature of the TJA1021TK/20/C transceiver is its current loop balanced data transmission that helps in providing high levels of noise immunity and reliability. The working principle of the transceiver is such that it transmits and receives a current signal over a two-wire line. The two-wire line is balanced, meaning the signal is transmitted through both wires, i.e. two currents of opposite polarity are transmitted (one in each wire).
