The TNY253GN-TL is a miniature off-line switcher integrated circuit manufactured by POWER Integration. It is specifically designed for cost efficient no-load power supplies. An additional hysteretic control loop is used to reduce the internal High Voltage NFET switching frequency at light loads. This enables higher energy efficiency at light load conditions and improves the no-load power consumption.

The TNY253GN-TL is an ideal choice for highly efficient off-line AC/DC converters. The device is offered in a 4-pin SOIC package, and it is compatible with lead-free soldering processes. It is manufactured in accordance with European Union Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS). It requires a minimum number of external components and offers high system integration.
