TNY275PN is a PMIC voltage regulator that is used for AC/DC converter and offline switch applications. It is a single-output, switch mode regulator with adjustable output voltage from 0.5 to 5 volts. The TNY275PN is designed to provide up to 3A of peak output current, with a maximum continuous current of 1.4A. It is also capable of operating in discontinuous conduction mode and providing low dropout voltage operation.The TNY275PN has several features that make it suitable for AC/DC converter and offline switch applications. It utilizes a synchronous rectification with an integrated output switch, allowing it to achieve high efficiency levels. The synchronous rectification helps to reduce conduction losses, while the integrated output switch helps to reduce switching losses. The device also features a frequency jittering circuit to reduce EMI susceptibility.The TNY275PN is designed to operate in two modes: Continous Conduction Mode (CCM) and Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM). For DCM operation, the output switch is turned on when the output voltage rises above the set point, and turned off when the output voltage falls below the set point.
