The TNY287KG-TL is a switch-mode power supply (SMPS) that operates by rapidly switching on and off in order to convert the AC input voltage into a steady DC output voltage.The internal circuitry of the TNY287KG-TL is the same as other switch-mode power supplies and consists of three main components: an input filter, an error amplifier, and a voltage-controlled oscillator. The input filter is used to remove noise, ripples and transients on the input AC voltage. The error amplifier monitors the output voltage of the device and compares it with the desired output voltage. The error amplifier then adjusts the voltage-controlled oscillator according to the errors detected.
