Working Principle:
TOP264VG consists of two major parts: the power switch and the control circuit. The power switch is used to maintain alternating current from the main and convert it into stable DC output. When the voltage rises above the reference value, the control circuit reduces the switching frequency, eventually reducing the output voltage. Conversely, when the voltage drops below the reference value, the control circuit increases the frequency, resulting in an increase in the output voltage.
The control circuit automatically adjusts the average output current (for CCM mode) or the peak current (for DCM mode) according to the feedback signal of the transformer rectifier bridge (TRB).
