AOD3T40P Application Field and Working Principle

AOD3T40P is a vertical N-Channel MOSFET based on the trench gate process technology. It is commonly used in automotive, industrial and communication applications due to its high current, low on-state resistance and fast switching characteristics. AOD3T40P has a pulsed drain current capability of up to 230 A and a continuous drain current of up to 40 A.

AOD3T40P is offered in a 4-pin TO-220 package with a single gate terminal. It is also available in a 5-pin D²PAK package with a double gate terminal.
