AP3598FNTR-G1 is a current-mode control DC/DC controller with the capabilty to support multiple topologies. As part of a wide range of voltage regulator solutions, the AP3598FNTR-G1 falls in the PMIC – Voltage Regulators – DC DC Switching Controllers family.The controller provides a high power density, high performance solution while consuming low quiescent current. It offers multiple protection mechanisms, like over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), over-current protection (OCP) and hiccup mode short circuit protection (SCP). With low start-up voltage, it is suitable for automotive applications and wide voltage input range.The driver integrated inside is designed to drive two external power N-MOSFETs. Its synchronization range is up to 120kHz. The external resistor or DC voltage can adjust the output voltage. Apart from that, there is also an enable pin to control the power on/off.
