Working EPrinciple

The BAS21SLT1 series of rectifier arrays contain at least two interconnected diodes that are placed in close proximity to each other. The diode elements are connected in series and circuit diagrams can be arranged to reflect this arrangement. When AC voltage is applied to the rectifier array, the diodes will allow current to flow in one direction only, thus rectifying the AC signal into DC. The forward voltage drop of the diodes determines the peak forward voltage of the rectifier array and the reverse leakage current of the diodes determines the reverse leakage current of the array when no forward voltage is applied.
