Its a sensitive gate Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) option, and is designed for use in applications such as AC motor speed control, solid state relay, thyristor phase control, miniaturized solid state lighting, heating control, solenoid, pulse circuits, active switches, delay timers and AC line voltage regulation.The BTA06-600BWRG works by controlling the gate in order to switch the internal thyristor on and off.
