The DG211BDQ-T1-E3 device is a monolithic CMOS single-pole-double-throw multiplexer/analog switch designed for use with low-level analog signals and can be used in a variety of applications ranging from data acquisition and signal routing to standard logic switching.The DG211BDQ-T1-E3 utilizes advanced silicon gate CMOS technology to provide a low on-resistance (7.5 Ω max) with low power consumption and fast switching times. The low on-resistance gives rise to low distortion (< 1 ns) and low crosstalk (< -110 dB) so that a variety of analog signals can be switched and routed with minimal degradation. The low power consumption and fast switching times are achieved through low capacitance ratings, allowing for fast transition times when switching between signals.The DG211BDQ-T1-E3 features a single pole double throw switch capable of connecting one node to either of two other nodes. Each switch can operate in either direction, allowing either analog or logic signals to be routed. The device is controlled via a digital input (ON/OFF), so that switching of the signal can occur at any time making the device suitable for different types of applications.The DG211BDQ-T1-E3 is designed to be used in a wide range of applications including data acquisition, signal routing, multiplexing, analog switching, and logic switching. The device is suitable for use in a variety of audio and video applications including, video routing and signal mixing, audio signals mixing, video multiplexing and analog signal switching. The device is also suitable for use in communications systems where signals need to be quickly switched such as, modem and telephone systems.The device operates by way of three voltage levels defined as VH, VM and VL which control the switch state. VH and VL define the operate/release and on/off voltages for the device, respectively, and VM is a hysteresis voltage for noise immunity. When the voltage applied to the control pin is equal to or greater than VH, the switch is closed and the signal from node 1 is routed to node 2. When the voltage is less than VL the switch is open and the signal is routed from node 1 to node 3. The device is able to provide low on-resistance while consuming low power and fast switching speeds. It is designed to operate with a wide range of analog signals as well as digital signals, providing reliable switching and routing of signals in a variety of applications. The device has a wide range of applications including data acquisition, signal routing, multiplexing, analog switching, and logic switching. The device can be used in audio and video applications as well as telephone and modem systems. The device is designed to provide reliable switching with minimal distortion and crosstalk.
