The HER308GA-G is an epitaxial silicon, monolithic type rectifier diode with guardring which is formed on the top/bottom surface of the silicon chip. This device is constructed with two merges on each side for leaded diode and surface mount diode packages. This device offers low on-state voltage drop, fast reverse recovery time, and low leakage current.
The working principle of a HER308GA-G rectifier diode is based on the principles of solid state physics and quantum mechanics. When used in AC power rectification, the HER308GA-G will conduct electricity in one direction while blocking it in the opposite direction.
