The HMC674LP3ETR is a low-noise, high-frequency, low-power, high-linearity limiter in a small system-in-package (SiP) package. This single-chip device from Avago Technologies (known as Broadcom) is intended for use in GHz data communication systems as in cable TV, satellite TV, and cellular base station systems.The HMC674LP3ETR is a 4-bit programmable limiter with a maximum gain of greater than +9 dB, minimum gain of +6 dB, and noise figure of less than 3 dB. It is available in a hermetically-sealed package with a die size of 12.7 x 7.8mm. The device operates from -40℃ to +85℃ temperature range. The device has an RF edge speed of 20ns and active power of 2mw.
