The HMC696LP4 is a monolithic complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) radio-frequency (RF) modulator designed for digital communication systems. It is designed to combine baseband and radio frequency signals for a wide range of application fields such as echo cancellation, cellular system design, base station radio transmitters and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. It offers broadband operation with minimal power consumption and high level performance. Working Principle

The HMC696LP4 works on the principle of combining baseband and RF signals.
