Working Principle

The ISL6843IU-T DC/DC Switching Regulator Voltage Controller has two main operating functions; a PWM and a Linear Regulator Regulator. The topology consists of an adjustable voltage linear regulator, an active power switch integrated into a 4mm x 4mm QFN-20 package and a current sense amplifier. The maximum current capability of the power switch is 800mA, and the controller has an output voltage of 0.56V.
