The circuit of ISL61853LIRZ-T has two programmable thresholds and the device operates in either DC detection mode or voltage detection mode depending on how these thresholds are set.

In DC detection mode, the device uses an integrated N-Channel MOSFET to sense the current on power detect pin. In case of over-voltage, the device uses the adjustable OVSTM to sense the voltage. If the voltage level is above the settable threshold, then the device will disable the power rail.
