PMIC - Hot Swap Controllers ISL61853JIRZ-T is an intelligent power controller that is widely used in the power management and hot swap of integrated systems for the telecommunications, industrial, and other markets. The device combines advanced PMIC core features such as multiple power dissipation operations, autonomous linear and logical regulation, logic-level dynamic voltage scaling, voltage monitoring, and system shutdown; with integrated high-performance hot-swap control functions. The ISL61853JIRZ-T can supply up to 10 A of current to loads, accurately and quickly, while supporting multiple voltage and current ranges. The ISL61853JIRZ-T hot swap controller utilizes a two-stage power regulation architecture which provides the highest level of system flexibility. In the first stage, initial circuit configuration is provided by a dual-channel PWM buck converter and a single-phase buck-boost regulator. In the second stage, a digital control loop is enabled which provides independent, real-time and adaptive supply voltage control. The device also includes an integrated high-speed current limit measurement circuit. This allows for the fast and accurate protection of connected loads during system startup and simultaneous protection from voltage, current, or temperature overloads.The ISL61853JIRZ-T\'s advanced power regulation technology allows for the safe disconnection and reconnection of supply lines to the system, facilitating power cycling and the fast, accurate switch to alternative, regulated or non-regulated sources. Through the use of a dedicated control pin, the device provides temperature monitoring, power cycling, and soft-start/hot swap capabilities.
