JN5179-001-SMAZ is a 2.4 GHz RF Evaluation & Development kit, board from NXP. This RF Evaluation and Development kit/board is the ideal solution for customers who are developing applications based on the JN5179 microcontroller and its RF transceiver. It is required for evaluating the transceiver performance, RF peripherals, and radio protocols.
The JN5179-001-SMAZ Evaluation & Development kit/board includes the exact same microcontroller and RF transceiver as the device that customers are actually deploying in their designs. It provides customers with the ability to accurately evaluate and measure the performance of their designs.
Two versions of the Evaluation & Development kit/board is available - one version with an integrated antenna and one version with a snapshot connector. The board is compatible with external SMA connectors and provides the ability to quickly switch between different antenna configurations.
The JN5179-001-SMAZ Evaluation & Development Kit/Board is equipped with an on-board programmer/debugger that supports JN-Link programming and debugging tools. It is also compatible with the NXP S32DS IDE for development. The board is ideal for wireless system design, pre-come out RF tests, and more.
The Working Principle: The JN5179-001-SMAZ Evaluation & Development Kit/Board is based on the JN5179 microcontroller and RF transceiver. This microcontroller, along with the integrated RF transceiver, provides the ability for customers to accurately measure the performance of their designs. When the board is powered up, the microcontroller and RF transceiver work together to perform RF system tests and measure its performance.
