The LNK306P is designed for offline AC – DC converters, meaning that it operates without the need of a constant input voltage from the power source. The device is also capable of PFC (Power Factor Correction) operation, which reduces both the electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated from the converter as well as the conducted noise coupled into the power line.
