This is done by controller running in the background measuring the output current and voltage of the battery charge and adjusting the charging voltage accordingly to maintain maximum efficiency. It similarly holds true for the DC IN port where the device translates the output voltage into a regulated voltage suitable for the load. It also supports fast-charge drain/restore control and NFC technologies that significantly improve its performance and enable faster charging cycles. When a battery is connected, the device can automatically detect its charging method and adjust the parameters accordingly to deliver the highest possible charging efficiency.
