Working Principle

The MAX325EPA+ is structured with a charge-coupled device (CCD) to support switched capacitor applications. This CCD can control many switches in parallel, and each switch is controlled by different input gates. When a voltage is applied to an input gate, it causes the corresponding switch to turn on. When the input gate voltage is removed, the corresponding switch turns off. Therefore, when the maximum amount of switches is enabled and the correct voltage is applied to the corresponding input gate, the device works as a single pole-double throw (SPDT) switch.

The MAX325EPA+ also includes a low-dropout (LDO) tailored for very low voltage operation. This LDO helps to reduce system power consumption and provide audio quality enhancements while maintaining a high switching ratio. Additionally, it includes an adjustable constant current source which helps to regulate the supply voltage output of the device.

The device also provides a low-latency analog output and a fast response time, thereby reducing audio distortion and improving audio performance.
